Nero is a little bit old, update to the latest of Nero 6, which is 6.6.0.18 (REMEMBER to download and install package #1 & #2 only).

Your firmware is old, go here http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=2116 to get the latest firmware to run and updates on your burner -- it's current firmware is JOU4.

510MB is ok, but your system is using too much memory when you're burning. Try to free up/release more memory in prior to burning. To free up more memorey: go to START, RUN and type msconfig, click on STARTUP and disable any unnecessary programs that you don't need at this time. Another way is "ctrl+alt+del" and click on PROCESSES, now End Process on any unuse/unnecessary programs that you don't need, then restart your computer.

Yep, definitely need to update on the firmware. This should have 3 lines altogether. What kind of media you're using, by the way?

This is too close to the edge, try to customize to 4360MB or at least 4400MB with high quality media like genuine Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim "Advanced Azo" and Maxell (Hitachi - made in japan).

Again, looks like your drive doesn't like the media, or either it's having a tough time reading the media. Probably due to lack of firmware on the burner. See above reply for high quality media.

This is crazy... you need to burn at 4X only. 4X is the best, safest and most recommended here at AfterDawn. As a matter of fact, I only used top notch media like Yuden, Verbatim and Maxell (Hitachi - mij) and I don't even dare to go beyond 8X.
