Can nero do a DL . I have been burning as usual and I got some DL disks to try out. I used DVD Decypter and DVD Shrink all is fine until Burn time. It says it cant burn this type of disk. Any suggestions.

    Thanks
    Jim

What is the make/model and current firmware on your burner. You can go to Decrypter to find this info, use the Tools tab then Drive and then Capabilities, it looks like this.

You do not need Shrink for doing DL it is better to use Decrypter for this in iso read, then open your MDS file and then do iso write mode. Here is a guide.

Try using Decrypter following the guide and see if it works, Nero is not really a good program for backing up DL's. Cannot tell about your burner it looks like generic. Try using the check for firmware update in Decrypter to make sure yours is the latest. Also what kind of DL media are you using, the best is Verbatim.
