    Hello all, forgive me- my questions may seem stupid to some of you, as I am a newbie. Here's the situation;

    I first started buring with Nero Burning & DVD Shrink and it worked fine, until my trial ran out. When I got a newer (trial again) version, everything went wrong. Since then I've tried several other approahes listed in these forums (AnyDVD + ClondDVD, Shrink/Decryptor...etc) and nothing woorked. And so I've come to the conclusion that I should just fix what was once working.

    From my understanding I need to use Nero 6.6.0.18 (I have packages 1 & 2 and the clean tool) with DVD Shrink 3.2 for it to work automatically (like it did in the beginning). The only problem is I never bought Nero, so I can't install this earlier version. I want to buy it, but:

    - I'm skeptical that I'll pay for it and it still wont work
    - Is there a way to try this out for free, then I'll buy it when I'm sure it works? What do you recommend?

    Please, someone help me... I beg you

    If you don't trust that nero will do its job and don't want to purchase it, then try having shrink autoburn the video file to disk using DVD decrypter (it's free). You can get it here;

    http://www.mrbass.org/dvdrip/

    After decrypter has been installed, you should see an option in the drop down menu when using DVD shrink to "create an ISO image and burn with DVD decrypter" when you click on the backup tab. Shrink will automatically use decrypter to burn the image to disk when its ready.
