been having difficulties getting nero 6 or 7 versions to multiple burn dvd to 3 external buners. cd burning works perfect. now i discover that i can burn dvd successfully and repeatably to 3 external burners only if the source dvd is on dvd+r. will not work with dvd-r any brand i have tried or any recorder used to make it including pc or stand alone recorder. i dont know why this should be so and cant knock success but i would like to pass this on to anyone trying to get this software to work. also if i copy my dvd-r to a dvd+r i can then burn using multiple recorders.
more info about using Nero burning rom to burn to multiple recorders. To use dvd-rom with a dvd-r as the source disc unclick "on the fly" in "copy options". This will make an image that dvd-rom can set the book with and work properly. If you want to make more copies from the same set up unclick "delete image file after disc copy" in the "image" tab. I have 4 external burners of verious makes connected to usb ports where one is connected thru a belkin hi-speed hub and this set up works really great. Burning time at 8x using Verbatim white face 16x discs or Sony pearl face 16x discs runs about 15-16 minutes.
