Hi, I'm able to burn data CDs fine but when I try to burn a data DVD of video files, nero goes to 1% but never actually starts to burn the disk. Ok, let's turn DMA on for your dvd drive. See this... http://my.afterdawn.com/alkohol/blog_entry.cfm/231/dmaissues Let's also use some better media such as Verbatim or Sony or Taiyo Yuden. Urm, you might want to tturn simulate OFF or FLASE before you burn... Don't do anything else (multi task) whilst you burn, OK? Okay, I downloaded a new version and ran the clean program and turned off the simulate function. For the DMA, I followed the page that you gave me and all the channels were already on "DMA if available." I didn't have any other programs open while I was burning. You haven't changed you media. Buy some Verbs or Sony or Taiyo Yudnen. Your memory usage is still too high - DO NOT multitask in burn!!! And your DMA is still OFF - turn it on - make sure you folow guide properly
