It looks like firmware updates are available for the burners -

    http://www.firmwarehq.com/NEC/ND-3500AG/files.html
    http://www.firmwarehq.com/Optiarc/AD-7190A/files.html

    - but before that, it's odd that both burners would fail;consider changing to Verbatim brand disks instead of the CMC.

also, consider burning the output from Nero using ImgBurn.

Your Drive May Have a Bad Laser or a Dirty One. Try Cleaning the Laser.

Also Try Using Verbatim Brand Media.

Both logs show the burn at 2.4X, can you select another setting in ImgBurn - say 4x?

...also, insert a DVD-R and check the 'Test' box in imgBurn to do a simulated burn - this only tests communication between the software and the burner, the laser is out of the picture - nothing is burned to the disk.

Buy Laser Cleaning Disc At Radio Shack.

Different Computers. Different Burners. Things Aren't The Same.

    Listen to ATTAR. (He's Good)
