Nero cant detect my CD/DVD rom

    Hi I have used nero many times before on my computer, however I had to restore my computer last week and now Nero 5 cannot detect my recorder. It is a NEC DVD_RW the model is ND-2500A. When I go to burn audio it actually goes through the burining process and says it was completed successfully but it didnt burn anything to the disc.
    Can anyone please help me, (warning - I am a novice and it may take some explaining sorry!) Thanks a lot.

    check for updates at the nero site

    You can uninstall nero and reinstall, I don't know if you've tried this but it may work.
