Any help is appreciated. I have an external DVD that works great with all software except Nero. When I load Nero, XP warnings pop up telling me my drive is not recognized. When I try and burn using Nero it cant find the drive. I have tried re-installing...I like Nero and would prefer to continue using but if you know of another program with the same capabilities I am all ears. Nero site suggests disabling drivers, that hasn't worked either. Microsoft website offers no suggestions. I am using an inoi (Lite-On). Thanks for ANY help.
Hi. Sometimes Nero doesn't cater for certain DVD writers, especially very recent ones. this happened to me as well. I was using Nero 5.5 and it would not recognize my drive (it was a fairly recent drive at the time). I couldn't find the solution anywhere and someone on this forum suggested I update Nero to a more recent version. I did and it completely fixed the problem. 1. How old is your DVD writer? 2. Which version of Nero are you using?
