nero cd/dvd speed..disc scan

    Hi
    Copied a dvd, scanned it using dvd speed.When i read it on my Benq 1640 it got a score of 95% and about 6 pif errors...yet when scanned with my Philips 8701 i got a 100% score with no pifs? ..one is obviously wrong....any ideas? I didnt use quickscan btw

    One may simply be better then the other for error checking. The best drive I know of for error checking is a normal dvd rom, the liteon 166 I think. This is simply M.H.O.
