I found this site by google search and read a bunch of threads about this. But in all examples I found the person was burning a movie. Me I am burning some files (making a data disc). Not sure if that makes a difference. Anyway I get the command sequence error. Here is my log-file for inspection.

In the event you need to know mmore about my burner, it is a Mad Dog external DVD/CD bruner 8x speed. And it is plugged into a USB port.

Your firmware is out of date, current is YSA4 ,here is link to it:

    http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=385

Your Nero is also out of date, current is 6.6.0.18.

Your DMA is off, here is how you can turn it back on:

    http://www.burstcopy.com/dma/xp/

You shouldn't be multi-tasking, close all aps during yor burn and rip stage via task manager.

YOu aren't finalizing your CD, it's left open. YOu have to finalize evrything if you want it to play. I'm not sure if that's the case w/ Data disc, but why not do it, can't hurt.
