Hi guy`s, newbie here, I am hoping someone can help me before I commit mass murder!! I am using Nero 6, and trying to make a copy of an audio disc, the finished cd has all the tracks on it, and plays all the tracks on my pc, but when it`s played on my home cd player and the cd player in the car etc. it`s shows on the display all the tracks, but will only play the first track?? I know it`s probably only a setting I have wrong on my software, but I`m tearing what little hair I`ve got left out!! Any one got any ideas?? Thanks. Roldaru.
I had that problem once but I don't remember what it was. I just open up Nero Start Smart(NeroStartSmart.exe) and choose "Make Audio CD" from under the "Audio" category. works for me
Burned CDs have less reflectivity than pressed ones. That may be the problem. That can only be solved by swapping media or buying new CD players. I doubt that a media switch will help but it might. You can also experiment with burning speeds. I would rip the CD to a mp3 format using EAC a free and very good app. If this works you might move to lossles formats for exact duplicates. Then make an audio disk from the ripped files. Even though that has more steps, it is far more likely to work. If it does fail you will know where it failed. If the burned CDs still do not work. Do yourself a favor, buy CD players that read mp3 CDs. Not only are they made to read burned CDs but you are ready for the next step. Mp3 CDs hold 150 tunes +/- 50 tunes. Everyone gets used to them real fast.
