I have a VERY ODD issue with NERO. Or at least I think it's odd because I can't find ANY reason for it ANYWHERE and i've searched high and low. I will try to make this brief as possible so there's less to read, but with the most detail so maybe someone can help or at least offer good advice. Let me first say I have a 100% fully licensed copy of NERO. With that being said, Everytime I burn a CD with NERO it completes 100% with no problem. But when I go to play it in ANY player some tracks "hiccup" or "skip" "studder", that's the best way to describe it. Not the entire track, but certain portions of it and it's annoying as hell. For example, a track can be good for 2 or even 3 minutes, but at some point, there will be studdering or skipping. For instance, if the words were "one" "two" "three", when the problem occurs, it would be like "wahwon" "twwooo" "thththree" really quick but REALLY damn annoying. Some tracks are worse then others. AT FIRST, I tried different brands of blank CD MEDIA, same problem. Then different burners, different speeds, different settings, SAME, EXACTLY PROBLEM! FINALLY, I said screw this, maybe it is NERO. Sure enough, I downloaded some FREE CD burning software, and VOILA! PROBLEM GONE! NO STUDDERING OR SKIPPING, PERFECT PLAYBACK! WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER USED TO BURN PERFECTLY AS WELL BUT THE LATEST VERSIONS USE A NERO PLUG-IN SO I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM BURNING WITH MEDIA PLAYER WHEN IT USES NERO. WHAT IS MORE ODD, is my DVDs do NOT have any issues, hell, now i'm gonna be real paranoid and see if they do. But i'm virtually positive there are no problems with the DVDs as i've watched plenty and haven't noticed any odd issues, certainly not skipping, pixelation or studdering or anything to that affecct. So whether I use NERO BURNING ROM, NERO EXPRESS, NERO PLUG-IN THROUGH WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER, THIS ISSUE OCCURS. ANOTHER ODDITY is that once the CD is done burning I CAN RIP IT IN ITS ENTIRETY, SO THE DATA ISN'T BECOMING CORRUPT TO WHERE IT WON'T RIP, WHICH LEADS ME TO BELIEVE THAT SOMEWHERE IN NERO'S CONVERSION PROCESS THE ERRORS ARE OCCURING. BUT WHY NERO AND NOT OTHER SOFTWARE? What could be the cause of this? I haven't been able to find ANYTHING on google. Any help anyone can give or suggest on this issue would be greatly appreciated. I am not using NERO for any burning until I find out the cause of this. Thanks in advance for any help.
SON OF A BITCH! I JUST FOUND THE ANSWER TO MY PROBLEMS, http://cd-burner-help.com/blog/?p=33 THAT .DLL FILE FOR SOME REASON CAUSES THIS SKIPPING PROBLEM! THAT IS JUST SICK. NOW I REMEMBER WHY NERO SUCKS COMPLETE 100% ASS. IT'S A COMPLETE SHIT PROGRAM AND I WOULD OF NEVER USED IT IF IT WEREN'T FOR LACK OF REAL DUAL LAYER BURNING PROGRAMS OUT THERE AT THE TIME I PURCHASED IT. PRASSI AND RECORD NOW MAKE NERO LOOK LIKE 3 YEAR OLDS PRODUCE IT. UNREAL, MAN NERO SUCKS. INSTEAD OF FIXING THE ISSUES IN NEWER VERSIONS YOU HAVE TO MANUALLY INSTALL OLDER .DLL FILES..WHAT A JOKE. ANYWAY, MAN, JUST SEARCHING THE "RIGHT" TERMS ON GOOGLE FINALLY BROUGHT THAT UP..WOW! I AM SURE THERE ARE PLENTY OUT THERE THAT MAY OF BURNED TENS OR HUNDREDS OF CDS WITH THAT CRAP PRODUCT CALLED INFERO, JUST TO REALIZE LATER DOWN THE LINE THE CDS ARE CORRUPT...UNREAL! WELL GLAD I LISTEN TO EACH AND EVERY CD I BURN IN ITS ENTIRETY BEFORE DELETING ANYTHING!
