hi, i'm sure that this question has been asked many times, but wasnt sure how to find out what i need. I am pretty used to deal with bin/cue files, but none of my knowledge has been able to help me so far. when i try to burn a bin/cue with nero burning rom i get this error: an error ocurred while lodaing the cue sheet file.
I have already checked to make sure the cue file looks like this:

    FILE "FAMILY TRIPS 2004.bin" BINARY
    TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
    INDEX 01 00:00:00

this has been driving me crazy for days. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance, Justin

Its been a good while that I have not done any working with cue/bin.
Shouldnt the cue look more like this.

    FILE "C:\Folder_Name\FAMILY TRIPS 2004.bin" BINARY
    TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
    INDEX 01 00:00:00

Or whatever drive letter and folder the bin is in.

first of all, thanks for the reply. Now it is possible i am wrong, however i took a look at the guide for burning a bin/cue through nero and it said to make sure there were no paths at all. either way, i'll try it and thanks again for the help.

I just looked at the guide and your right it does read that way. I think at the time that guide was made it was for bin/cue that was being downloaded. So making sure no path was in the cue was meaning to make sure the original maker of the cue didn't have his path in it. Because his path and ours would likely not be the same.

Taking that route with cue/bin is no longer a good route to go. For instance a user may have bin files of many disks. Like mine I just looked in the cue for the last time I did bin files was my grandson events. I have 5 subfolders under 1 folder and 1 bin file in each subfolder with the name img.bin for each. The subfolder is the name for each event for identifcation. So my cue for each reads like this.

    FILE "C:\folder\subfolder\img.bin" BINARY
    TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
    INDEX 01 00:00:00

If I wanted the cue to read like yours I would have to move the img.bin to the OS root dir. In the open dir of C: then the cue without a folder\subfolder would know what img.bin to use because there would be only 1 there.
