Well, I've been burning avi. files to cd's so i can save space on my computer. anyways, I've been burning it with nero 6 (data disc feature) and every thing goes fine but when i actually put in the disc and copy some of the files to the desktop (it goes fine until around copying 6 files or so) it just starts saying failing to copy or even playing any of the files on the disc. Im not sure if its the nero or what? should i like upgrade to higher version or is it not the burners problem?
What version of Nero are you using, e.g., Nero 6.6.0.18. Post your Nero log section for one of the burns. It'll be in one of the following paths unless you're using Vista: N6: Program Files -> Ahead -> Nero -> NeroHistory N7: Program Files -> Nero -> Nero7 -> Core -> NeroHistory Post only one log section (probably the last one), not the entire log. Log section begin with a header closely followed by your name and serial number. Omit both the name and serial number from the post. Out of date burner firmware, out of date software, poor quality media, and hardware failure can all cause the problem described.
