So that I could comment on 7.2.3.2b, I tried it to burn 3 AVI flies which I had successfully burned using version 7.0.8.2, sadly each burn was unsatisfactory so I reverted to 7.0.8.2, tried them again with success…my conclusion..7.2.3.2b was a failure when it comes to burn AVI files. I did the following, uninstalled 7.2.3.2b, ran this clean tool http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Nero7_CleanTool.html and then installed 7.0.8.2 from here http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/?845 You have Roxio installed, it clashes with Nero, to remove, run this zapper http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Roxio-Zap.shtml You could also try updating to 7.2.7.0 from here http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/?1493
Thanks for the help. I will be performing some of the suggested actions (mostly updating Nero and getting rid of Roxio). If it works I will be posting the detials and thanking you profusely. Moreover, I would like to know how you (or anyone who is similar to you) got to be such experts at scanning through all of the technical code and fiding errors/the problem?
I do NOT pretext to be an expert, Over the last year I have read many Nero logs and have just picked up from others, namely creaky so basically you can say I have learned from him, he is now a moderator and doesnt read many logs any more. I have also learned quite a bit about Nero from another member named alkohol.

I notice that you have upgraded to this version, unfortunately I think this one may be causing some problems also. I would suggest you uninstall, run the clean tool and install either 7.0.8.2 or 7.2.7.0 from here 7.2.7.0 http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/?1493
