Nero + Disc Problems

Hi all,
I keep having this trouble with nero and some discs i have (Datalot DVD-R's). The discs are s*** and they fail to burn quite a lot. In nero, the disc will write perfectly until the very end, when it gets to the lead out. Then the burn will fail and i'll get in the log it says that the short lead-out failed and something about a session fixation error. I thought this was just because of the discs, but it also did it to a high quality TDK 8x media. I have reinstalled my ASPI drivers, but i dont think this has helped either. It seems to error every 1/4 times i think. I made two PS2 backups with the discs just to test a PS2 and they burnt properly.

-Oh, and it only errors with DVD's, not CD's.

Any ideas on what the problem might be?
