Nero Disk Type in the recorder unknown - HELP!

    What am I doing wrong. I used to be able to record onto CD's - both CD-RW and CD-R - now Nero is coming up with disk type in the recorder unknown when I put either of these disc types in the drive. Not sure what I have changed for it to do this? Any help muchly appreciated.

    Thanks for that - but it turns out that the CD writer needed replacing!
