Hi, i´m new here and i have a problem (sorry about my english) I´m having a problem using Nero when i try to record a VCD or SVCD. I choose the option VCD or SVCD and drag an .AVI file with 700Mb into MPEGAV or MPEG2 folder but the button "Burns the current compilation" doesn´t appear active. When i drag the .AVI file to the root directory the button appears active, but the file size goes do 730Mb, and i tried to reduce the original file size to fit in the root directory, but it doesn´t make any difference. Somebody can help me? Thanks !
If your DVD Player can play .avi then just burn the .avi file on a data CD. If you have to convert to (S)VCD format then use something like TMPGEnc Plus. If the movie is too big you might have to split to 2 CDs. You can automate the whole thing using DVD2SVCD freeware but there's so many options in the program you might as well learn to use TMPGEnc Plus anyway. Do you have a DVD burner or just a CD burner?
