Hi there, There been a few threads about this error, do a search in the forums. Basicly says, upgrade firmware, use / try different media, and worste case, try a different power adapter for your drive.
When I had this error, I was told that my Pioneer 106 writer may be going bad. However, someone suggested I blow compressed air in to the drive. I did that and also cleaned the lens using a lense cleaning disk. Have had no problems since and it's been more than 6 months.
