ok i ran a disk check on 2 of my back ups. And they both started saying no additional sense information (04091e). Like right at the very end of the check . I have not had this happen on any other disk i have tried before these. I was wondering if any one had a clue what would cause this??? I searched but could not find a anwser.. Im useing the sony accucore (yuden)@ 8x if that helps. Thanks
What drive are you testing on? If I remember right that error is telling you the drive dont support pif sensing.
I have a hp dvd writer 630c... It did not come in the computer i got it from walmart..... But i have never seen this error before. And i have check other dvds from this drive ..
you are right on it not supporting pif sensing. but it has never gave that error message... it just usaly does everything else but pif .. what do i need to get to suport pif ????? thanks
I wouldnt worry to much about it at the moment. I think they are working on makeing it po check if pif not supported on the drive. The liteon 166 is a good dvd rom for checking disks on. I dont even check them to often anymore.
