Okay, my system is HP 2bg ram MCE 2005 PC with Nero 6.0.18. I have this disc OEM and DVD Decryptor and Shrink, which I have been successfully using to back up my DVDs for 3 years. I had a problem with Nero vision express 2 not allowing me to create DVDs with my own menus, adding AVIs, so I tried to upgrade to 6.04etc but then had trouble with shrink, so I dialed back, uninstalled Nero (though I can't get the clean-up tool from Nero because of a Nero website issue), reinstalled from disc, and now have Nero vision, but have no DVDShrink burning. I read the stickies, searched the past posts, and am at a loss. I used a nero general clean up tool to uninstall nero. Reinstalled Nero from disc. Rebooted. Uninstalled and reinstalled Shrink so it would be installed post Nero. Do I need to uninstall Shrink, decryptor, and Nero, and install them all one at a time? Would a restore on my PC to an older point (pre-upgrade to newer version 6) help?

My burn with nero error log is below, as is the error I get when I tried to use shrink to burn with Decryptor. I've never burned with Decryptor before, so I may need to decrypt the ciscs in a different more first, but for the already decrypt dvds on my hard drive, I am not sure what to do. Basically, here are my error logs. I like burning with dvdshrink and nero, but if there is a way that will work and is similarly easy, or for one tme less that 100$ purchase, I will do that, but I really like Nero/Shrink.

Anyway, error logs follow. Any help would be appreciated.

What brand media are you using?

Your drive isn't recognizing them. I would try a different brand, preferrably Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden. If that gives you know joy your drive may be borked and needs replacing...it is getting a little old.

This is a Roxio driver, and you should remove using the Roxio Zap tool (available @ Softpedia). How'd ya miss that Loco? :p

Anyway, the version of Nero you're using is less-than stable, so I'd recommend reverting as close as possible to 6.0.18..
