i understand nero 7 premium encodes and burns dvd at the same time, to allow them to play onto all dvd players. though all i've heard about nero 7 premium is bad reviews. are there any other programs out there that do the same thing, or is nero 7 premium ok to purchase?
Nero7 has had its fair share of BUGS however most members who use Nero7 now report that the latest version is OK to use as the bugs have been eliminated. In my opinion Nero is a very good program and worth it's purchase price. It can convert files such as AVI and MPEG to name a few to DVD and burn them to DVD, whether they will play in ALL standalone players depends on the player itself. Some accept the +R format, some accept the -R format and some play BOTH. Most players accept DVD-ROM. I am extremely pleased with my Nero but there are some knockers of Nero as there is with most things, in the end the decision is yours.
