    Hi folks

I have just started to get an error message when about to back up with Nero.

"DVD-video files reallocation failed. The resulting DVD-video might be unplayable. Do you want to continue"

I did continue and it seem to burn the disc ok. But somethings wrong somewhere. Can anyone throw some light on the matter for me

Can you post a Nero history log, located here

Nero 6 history log location: Program Files>Ahead>Nero>NeroHistory.txt

Nero 7 history log location: Program Files>Nero>Nero 7>Core>NeroHistory.tx

Edit out your serial number before someone pirates it.

This version of Nero is "buggy", uninstall, run this clean tool, http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Nero7_CleanTool.html and then install one of these more stable versions, 7.0.8.2 or 7.2.7.0 from these links

    7.0.8.2 http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/?845

    7.2.7.0 http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/?1493

Update your firmware to PYS2 from here http://www.sonyisstorage.com/bv_downloads/cpce/dvd/PYS2WIN.EXE

At the top, right side of your post, there's a pen and paper icon, click on that, edit and click save changes.

Still having a bit of bother with the same error message. Have upgraded firmware, Got rid of my copy, cleaned it, and reinstalled the new Nero.

I notice you are using Nero Burning ROM...have you tried using Nero Recode...that is if you are backing up discs.
