I've used this combination for sometime without trouble but lately purchased a new burner and updated nero to enable dual layer burning. Now i can't get any further than dvd shrink, nero won't get anything going. I've attached my nero error messages..help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Hi JDub25 When you put the new NEC burner in did you change the jumper pin to master to match the connection on the ide cable? Cause your getting a bunch of these errors in the log:(KEY_NOT_READY) & Disc not present If you did - next I would check the ide cable - might want to put it on the slave connection to try it out. Few more suggestions: File 'Drivers\InCDfs.SYS' Nero's InCD can cause problems so if you're not using it uninstall it and run the clean tool: http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/enu/InCD_CleanTool.html Burn process failed at 16x Try taking it down to 8x.
