Hi. Could anyone please help me with this error code I get when I try to back up a dvd. I use DVD Fab, DVD Shrink and Nero. Also if I have to reinstall Nero is there a link I can do that at. I am not sure what happened to my disk. Thanks for your help. :)

    Here is the error code:

Thanks so much for your help, but I'm sorry I am very computer illiterate. I checked out the firmware link you posted, but I'm not even sure what that word means. lol Should I try reinstalling all of my software? Thanks again.

Click on the first link and then click on PS0B. Save the file and run it. Don't forget to run the Roxio Zapper

Ok I see that download and I also found Roxio Zap on google. Is this something that is going to happen periodically with my nero software? What do these 2 downloads do to fix it?

Thanks for being so helpful!! :)

It's a .rar file. Go and download WinRar, this will let you open the file.

In addition to nasayin's good advice:

This is low quality media. Best to use Verbatim, Made in Japan labeled Fuji/Sony, and Taiyo Yuden media available online.

You might want to set your target output size to 4300 or 4350 MB for a DVD5 disk.

16X is likely too fast a burn speed especially for lower quality media like what you're using. Limit your burn speed to half or less the rated speed of the media.

    Edit: text added below
Have you tried using ImgBurn (free) to burn your media? Use the Build mode if you have a folder ov dvd files to make a disk image file and then the Write mode to burn the image. If you already have an image file proceed directly to the Write mode.

Hi there. I would like to let you know that I got my burner up an running again. Thanks to both of you for your help.

@ nasayin. If you don't mind my asking. How did you know which firmware # I needed? I would like to keep my eye out for future updates.

From your log file, your dvd burner is LITE-ON DVDRW SHW-160P6S with a firmware of PS0A. So I went to check the firmware page and found a newer version.
