Hi, I know this is a daft question,but i have Nero Express 6 on my Puter Installed with Disc given to me when i bought a Sony Camcorder. The question is how does one actually start a Multi Session Disc from scratch and does this version support making multi sessions?? Very Confused!!! I am able to Burn DVD ok etc but using a DVD-RW it wont allow me to add anything afterwards?? Stumped!!! Help please!!!! Thanks Tony
Hello Tony, here goes the solution. Yeah you can do that with your version of Nero.If you are new to burning ,then i'ld like to suggest reading the User Guide avaible with your burner.And ragarding multisession, its too easy you just have to choose the proper option from the settings menu.Some times it so happens that the multisession option is set OFF by default ,so you have to change that as per your requirement.Its better to keep it ON ,so that once you insert a media your Nero burner will automatically detect your multisession option and you can move ahead without any hitch,provided you have chosen to do so. Now for your second querry, I think you will get rid of it once you have solved your first riddle, which you can do now. Thanks.
Hi again, Thanks for the reply,but as yet i am still stumped!! OK i have now Installed Nero Version 6.6 to see if that will help on the Multi Session thing,but ALAS!! i have gone into the Prefrences part of Nero (After clicking on the "MORE" and i cant find anywhere that suggests one can set it to Multi Session????????? Mabe i am just plain stupid haha!! Please once again Help!!!!!!! This is driving me nuts!!!!! And its not that i am a novice at the Puter but i am stumped really!!! Thanks agin for any assistance. On the last screen (the 'Burn' one) after you have added your files and clicked 'Next' doesn't a box appear there that you can tick?
Look on your burn screen it is there on Nero Burning Rom and Nero Express, just check or uncheck the box for what you want.
Hi and thanks to all who responded. To you Arniebear i went into the Nero Express,and YES there is a box there that askes if you want to do Multi Session (Horah!!) but Oh!1 not so quick!! You see unfortunately it is greyed out and wont allow me to tick it,so now what!!!!!1\Gosh this is getting worse by theminute haha! I suppose there is some way that it can be checked but do you know how by any chance??? MysticE No there doesnt seem to be a box after burning???? What is the make and model of your burner? Is your Nero an OEM version, you'll see 'SE' after the modules. It just may be your burner is not fully supported with your Nero version.

Well I think as you stated your version of Nero doesn't support multisession. Deep Burner is a decent free app but I don't think it supports multisession DVD either. You could try this one as multisession is listed. I've never tried it so you are on your own. Good luck. http://www.cdburnerxp.se/
Hi MysticE Well here i go again. Do you mean that Nero OEM doesnt support Multi Session?????????? I have just upgraded online to Nero 6.6.1.4 which is the latest and still i get that Greyed out Box??????????? My DVD Drive does support Multi Session as i found my Manual and it tells me there. So i presume that i need another Version of Nero????Is this correct?? Thanks Malgass
Me again, Well i am downloading that cdbxp-setup now too so i will give that another try,i say another as i had downloaded it before and it was corrupted,i did it twice then eventually got it to work,but then i was told that the INCD would affect the Burning ???????????Mmmmm!! I am getting more and more confused. Anyway i will let you know how i go this time,but would still like an asswer to my last post please!!! Thanks Malgass
Just checking something that i have thought about. When i am trying to do the Multisessions,after adding the Files to the Nero window and burning those files,i then quit after they are done. Now i start all aover agin with another disc that i want to copy but when i try and add the files Nero is telling me that it cant do that as the files are the same. So as i am using my Camcorder with mini discs they are Video-TS Files all the same??? Is this the problen perhaps??? If so how do i go about adding files to the first lot?? Thanks
