nero express

    I am having trouble burning to a dvd using nero express.When I click on add the files appear as Audio_T5 and Video_T5 AND I am unable to burn them.This may have been caused by me clicking on copy folder instead of move.The icons have taken on a different appearence.but this also affects any new files.Does anyone have any ideas.

    Hello again,

    I've searched for the solution to this on the forums and tried it out but the program still gives me the same error.

    I've gone through diagnostic programs, cleaning programs, manually edited my registry to get rid of some poisonous software that might be messing up Nero. I've used Nero VIP service many times but they seem to take forever to reply and never give me the solution I need to fix this.

    I've rebooted my computer atleast 10 times today and more yesterday in the hours I've spent trying to fix this.

    One thing I have not tried to do yet is uninstall and re-install all of Nero 7 Ultra Edition which would a pain in the ass. But before I do that does anyone know what I can do?

    You can add the video_ts folder in Express. All that's needed.
    Here's a guide for 6 - if you are using 7 will be similar.

    hey there how ya been? on the nero burning software, is it all the same? i got a disc with ym burner id say its a oem not sure. it is different from one a freind of mine got with his burner. his has nero recode and a few others small things mine dont have...is this normal?i tried to install the version he had and try to use recode and it would lock my puter up...
    is these disc tha come with these burners the same as the one you would buy directly from nero? kinda like a sample disc to get ya hooked to make ya buy the store bought versions??

    Which version of 6 did you get?
    Not all oem nero disc are the same. Some come with more - just depends.
    Yep sometimes it's just a taste to get you hooked:)
    Yours may not have included Recode.

    Try this - uninstall Nero (write down your serial # - should be on the oem nero paper sleeve too) run the clean tool then install 6.6.0.18.

    i just got it all install perfect. thanks gonna have to try it out this weekend, gonna go buy posidian friday before work and try it out after i get off work. try recode for the first time

    Free up some memory - 78% is in use. So no multitasking and close all unnecessary programs.

    i'll get right on the firmware update it has been ablue moon since there has been a update for my drive.....as for the memory i think i did have 2 windows open when i was burning....and the 12x speed that is what i have been burning them verbs at to get past all the errors i have been getting with them... i will try and slow down to 8x with this firmware update ... your the best thanks for the help. got about ahour here at work them home to try things out

    i did the firmware update lastnight... took a while to get that thing to go right but i got it.....i did 2 movies lastnight i did one with the advanced analysis. took about 30mins and then i did one with the advanced analysis and the extra quality pass thingy...that took a hour and 4 mins i did use some cheapy memorex 8x -r's didnt want to mess up the good stuff like i did yesterday to have it crash on me... but they turned out great.. i'll post logs for both of them...

    Looks like that firmware update did the trick.
    Keep that link - you can check to see when a new firmware comes out for the drive.

    Now to get back to the Verbs :) Try 8x 1st.

    The advanced analysis and high quality options will take longer. I usually use them if doing a movie w/ high compression.
