Hi, I'm trying to a copy dvd with nero 6, nero express, when I put a dvd disk to be copied in to my dvd-rom, my hdd activity led stays on and nero freeses, I can't turn it off, if I press ctrl-Alt-delete and click end program nothing happens, the only way I can get rid of it is to turn my pc off then reboot, I've never had this problem before

Most likely the DVD has a physical or structural defect that the drive cannot read.

One way to verify this is (if you can) do a straight copy of the files/folders to your HDD.

Hey Juanndan... Funny I had the same problem until yesterday... But I didnt do an update. I uninstalled the driver (the my computer) and rebooted the pc. I guess Nov. 1st. was a good day for us both huh?? I wish I would have known to do that before wasting hours and days and deleting programs trying to figure out the problem.
