Hi, Im having an issue with nero (or maybe my burner). I am trying to backup a disc using nero recode but once the recode is done and it gets to the burning part it freezes (cant shut down my comp i have to manually turn off the power). I figured that i should search around and the site and try and solve the problem myself but i've had no luck so far. Im running a Sony DRU-820A (usb) with nero 6.6.0.18 and unfortunately i checked my log files and they dont seem to be showing up. Im going to try recoding yet another file and see if that one shows up.

    Thx for your help

log would be handy, maybe due to crash its not loaded?

do you have plenty of HD space available?

Well I tried burning another file by writing to the hard disk and it did that fine. No problems whatsoever, but yet again, once i started the burn it said starting caching of files it completely froze again. I manually turned off my burner after letting it sit there for a good 15 minutes of it doing nothing and nero unfroze. My burner sounded like it was going to do something at first (reving high and whatnot) but then it just stopped reving and sat idle. I did however get the log file and here it is
