I'm at a loss for how to fix this. I've tried burning different data, different burn speeds (all the way down the 4x), waiting for the burner to "cool down" between reads and burns...there doesn't seem to be any trend and it gives the same set of errors each time a burn fails. Here is one of the logs. Any help would be much appriciated. Also, I'm using Nero 7, Maxell DVD+R disks, on a pretty new Dell Dimension E510 if any of that makes a difference. This is out of my area.

ok, I've heard the roxio thing before. The problem is that I use roxio too. Is there anyway to get around the interference or should I just kill roxio and find another way?

You could try just updating your Nero and leaving Roxio installed and see how it goes.

That was my plan. Thank you so much for the help. I'll probably bug everybody again if I can't get this to work.

I had this problem with NERO also. The problem for me was that I was using DVD+ discs. I switched to DVD- and haven't had a problem since. Now I have a bunch of DVD+ discs I can't use.
