    Dear All,

I am trying to burn a series of .avi video files to DVD disc with my Freecom FX-50, but 9 times out of 10, Nero stops burning the DVD some way into the burning process.
There is no error dialogue displayed, and I have to kill Nero with Windows Task Manager.
The point at which it stops varies each time.
I have absolutely NO problem burning a .iso image file (from DVD shrink) to DVD.
I have tried a range of different quality DVD brands, but there is no difference in result.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi.

Are you using NeroVision to convert the AVIs to be DVD compliant or are you burning the AVI files as data files?

What version of Nero are you using?

If you're converting AVIs to be DVD compliant with NeroVision, try selecting the Image Recoder as the output device/target and create a Nero NRG image file. If that is successful, burn the nrg image file with ImgBurn.

There are also several other AVI conversion programs available that you could try if the above doesn't help.
