Hi guys. I hope someone can help me. I have an OEM version of Nero that came with my Lite-On DVD burner. It's version 6.3.1.11. When I start the program, the interface opens up. If I click on any option, ie., Make Audio CD, etc., it disappears from the desktop. The icon is on my taskbar, but that's all. I have burned CD's and DVD's for some time with it, and never had a problem. I uninstalled with the Clean tools and reinstalled, but no joy. Since I haven't been able to run the program since I reinstalled, I can't find a log to post. Any ideas?

It's quite possible that Nero is set to open up the facility you want using Nero Burning Rom, which, if you have the OEM version probably isn't included.
Try switching to Nero Express and see if it opens up then.

Thanks for the response. Nero Express doesn't open either. When I attempt to open it, it flashes on the screen for a split second...then vanishes. I tried reinstalling again and no good. I can't think of any changes to my computer that I've made, recently. It just suddenly stopped working. It seems like some type of conflict, but I don't know what.

    Spoda,
Try to update your nero 6 version 6.3.1.11 to version to version 6.6.0.16. it will solve your problem. Your version of nero may out of date.

From what I understand at Nero's site, with mine being OEM, I can't upgrade without paying........did I misunderstand it?

I hope you can think of something, Agent-k, cuz I'm running out of ideas. Thanx.
