ok, i feel like a friggin' moron and need some help... i have used shrink to copy to hdd and nero messed up and i want to try to re-burn using the files on my hdd. how do i do this using nero 6.3.1.23 oem version. usually nero just starts up automatically after shrink but i don't know what happened this time, my kids were messing around with the computer which definately might have something to do with it. please help if you can.

Here's a guide that should help.

Your version of nero is way out of date, I would update to the current version, but I have to warn you it's a little buggy and will not autoburn when using dvdshrink.

I was thinking of the nero7 update instead of nero6.

To update to Nero 7, you'll have to purchase it. To update to a newer version of Nero 6, it won't cost you. Many are still having issues with Nero 7 (not me, but others here). Until you have the extra to spend comfortably, don't waste the money to update to Nero 7 (have it on my desktop pc), 6 (have it on my laptop, for small burns because laptop isn't as powerful as the desktop) is still just as good.

The link from LocoEng is for the next to last Nero 6, it still works with shrink.

PS: Only mentioned Price because you said "Kids". I have a few of them myself and know how expensive they are. :)
