Hi j0ej0e For your drive looks like the latest is 1.0A. Here's a link: http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1740 or here http://www.de.nec.de/softwareoverview2.php/id/1333 Ouch - not the best by far - one of the worst. Firmware may help they these 16x's may be hit or miss. Better to be would be Verbatim or made in Japan only Fuji, Sony or Maxell. Roxio & Nero don't always play well. Unisntall Roxio and run the clean tool. http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Roxio-Zap.shtml Try those and keep us posted - good, bad or otherwise.
okay thanks for everything binkie, i removed roxio, updated my firmware, and reran the burn process with a different type of media and it worked Thanks again.
