I have nowed my Sony VIAO computer for over 2 years now and love it but have never actually used the burner until just a week ago because I never really had a need to. I recently joined one of those on-line deals where you pay a fee and you can download movies off the net, no trips to Blockbuster and no late fees to boot, so I suddenly had a reason to use my burner. I did some reading to figure out how to best do this got Nero 7 Ultra and was on my way. Since mine is a CD-RW I chose an option on this site to download the files in 2 parts so they would fit onto a CD-R. Well I get them in avi format and converted them to MPEG with no problem and burned the first half of Walk The Line and it worked fine, looked good on my TV and sounded good also. Then i go to burn part 2 and I get these illegal disc errors. I tried Sony CD-R's, Maxell CD-Rpro's and same thing everytime. So i reinstall the codec from this web site I get movies from and bam all the sudden it burns the 2nd part of Walk The Line, I burn the first part of the next movie I want and it works great I think I have found my problem, then as I go to burn part 2 of this movie illegal disc error again! So I reload the codec again thinking this would fix the problem but it hasnt after many attempts, so if anyone has any ideas please post em here as I am about to pull my hair out!

here is the Nero error log if it helps

Your log looks pretty clean, firmwares current, using good media. The only thing I can see is this
This is way too fast, slow to 4X.

If you are using a Dell computer then you may need afirmware update.
