All of a sudden recently i have started to get the illegal disc error message, this has never happened before, and seems to have happened without me adding any software, or making any hardware changes. The dvd will burn for a short while, buring about a cm of data onto the dvd, all burning works when i use a cd, but when i use my bulkpaq dvds the burning just stops, with the illegal disc message error, i have been able to burn things onto dvds before, and i cant think why its doing this now. here is a copy of the log Windows XP 5.1 IA32 WinAspi: - ahead WinASPI: File 'C:\Program Files\Nero\Nero 7\Core\Wnaspi32.dll': Ver=2.0.1.74, size=164112 bytes, created 11/2/2004 13:54:32 NT-SPTI used Nero Version: 7.0.0.0 (Nero Express) Recorder: <SONY DVD RW DW-Q28A> Version: KYS1 - HA 1 TA 0 - 7.0.0.0 Adapter driver: <IDE> HA 1 Drive buffer : 2048kB Bus Type : default (0) -> ATAPI, detected: ? I would suggest an update from here http://www.nero.com/nero7/enu/nero7-up.php I would slow burn to 4X Although you're using good media your burner is not recognizing it, may need firmware update from here http://www.firmware.fr.st/ You also have Roxio installed, it clashes with Nero and most recommend you uninstall Roxio, heres a zapper link http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Roxio-Zap.shtml
