    hi,
    I need your help!!
Im trying to burn mp3s on a dvd and I get the illegal disc message. I've tried 3 different dvds but its still the same. I've read in the forum that maybe the drive needs to be updated, I've tried to update it through the device manager on my computer but i got a message that no update was found or something like that. I can burn cds though, I don't know whats wrong with the dvds. Can anyone help me?? Please bear in mind that I don't know much about these computer issues  thanks!

here is the log of the last dvd burning attempt

Update your Nero from here, both packages

    http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe

    Package 2
    http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe

The latest version is BYS3, so I would suggest you go to Sony site and update.

These arent the best discs, try Verbatim or Sony (made in japan)

    You are burning too slow.

    hi gwendolin, thanks for replying

i was searching the forums and anyway I downloaded the ltnfw program and I downloaded the BYS2 because I thought that was the update for the BYS2 version I have, and now the ltnfw says in the status: programming..please wait. How long should I wait? Should I close it and get the BYS3? I read somewhere that its not good to close this program while its operating..sorry for the stupid questions but as I mentioned before I know nothing about such things.
    thanks
