On my username, Nero 7 works fine to burn Audio CDs...but on my sister's username, and on my father's, everytime they want to burn an audio CD, it says "Image Recorder" at the bottom. I think Nero isn't recognizing the drives or something, which is odd, because for me it works perfectly fine..so if anyone could help me, I would greatly appreciate it. ..nik
That is because they do not have the adminstrator rights on the computer. You can set this up in Nero and they will then be able to burn. http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/en/Nero_BurnRights.html
Okay..well I installed the burning rights and it still won't recognize our drives...it does on MY username but not on the others..and they DO have administrative rights...So I'm very confused..is there something else I need to do to make nero recognize our drives?
Are you by chance using Version 7.2.3.2, it may NOT be the problem but I do NOT recommend this version(nor 7.2.03/7.2.03b) I would uninstall, run this clean tool. http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Nero7_CleanTool.html and then install this older more stable version, 7.0.8.2 from here http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/?845
nevermind...I used the serial number from my old one and it worked... Yeah well I installed the one you gave me and it STILL isn't any different...:\..any other ideas??
