I'm getting error code 1 every time I try and install. I've posted at Cdfreaks but am getting no response. For bandwidth's sake, here's a link to screenshots of the error message and some of the log file over on the other site.

Btw, I've run the clean tools, but it made no difference.

When I installed 7.5.7.0 over the existing version I got 2 error messages, that seemed to be related to registering a .xml.

I thought "Here we go" but just clicked OK each time and the installation continued and finished. I thought it was just my PC config (XP MCE)

Haven't tested any functions yet, but things look OK just navigating through the menus.

Well, that's exactly the same as my issue. It (in my case) has nothing to do with installing over another vers. as it had the problem when I did and also when I used the clean tools.

I did a few rips, encodes and a CD burn last night and each of these worked OK.

Have you tried to complete the install by clicking on the Ok of the error msg and seeing if the applications work?

I agree though, that there shouldn't be an error msg if everything is OK.

Yes, I think I'm fine - functionality wise - but I haven't tried everything, and it should install w/o errors.

Ok, update - I just installed the newest build, and I still get the same 2 errors - anyone find the cause or solution yet?
