Nero Installation Error

    When I try to install Nero 6 I get an error that says "XPressRegisteredWinNT"
    then it wont let me finish installation. These files arent corrupt because I have used this installation file before. It happened ever since I reinstalled windows XP Pro. Any solutions without reinstalling Windows? Thank you

    Hello.

    Are you installing over another version of Nero or did you run the appropriate Nero Clean Tool first before trying to install.

    Clean Tools: http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Clean_Tools.html

    In addition to the Clean Tool, also run the Nero Driver Clean Tool.

    Also run a registry cleaner. Here's a free one: http://www.pctools.com/registry-mechanic/

    Try downloading Nero version 6.6.0.18 from here and installing:

    Package 1: http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe
    Package 2: http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe


    I've seen other posters with this error as well. You may need to go back to an earlier OS restore point and try installing.
