Hey. I'm trying to burn some 90 minutes movies on my MCD 900mb (100min) multi-speed cds. I've got the LG 48x16x48x burner, which is compatible to overburning, and I'm using Nero 5.5.8.3. When I burn (x8), it take me 4-6 hours (!!!) to burn. I've updated the my drivers. Didn't help. Now I tried burning an iso file with Alcohol120, on a regular 32x 700mb cd, and it was burning at an average speed of 0.4x (yep, 0.4). Anyone knows what's the problem and how to fix it?
Does the media you purchased support 48x write? Did you enable DMA? Does the LG-48x actually "support" 900 megabyte (100 min) cd-r's? Are you using the latest firmware for you LG 48x burner? Shoey
the 900mb media doen't support 48x, but still, I'm trying only at 8x. the "normal" size cds do support 48x, and yet it's still very slow. I don't have the DMA option on my cd-r/w. the LG as far as i know is almost the only burner that supports these kind of cds, and anyway - i'm able to burn them, and the play well on my stand-alone DVD, but it takes me about 6 hours to burn each movie. And as for the last question - but of course. I've downloaded the latest driver - didn't help
