nero is freezing when i try to edit my chapters

when i try to edit chapters on nero 7.2.0.3 it freezes for some reason and i have to close it, now the only way i can make a dvd is without the chapters

Nero API version: 7.2.0.3 and 7.2.0.3b

These latest versions of Nero are full of bugs, I recommend you uninstall, run this clean tool http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Nero7_CleanTool.html and then install 7.0.8.2 a more stable version from here

ok now when i try to insert any avi file it says unable to insert the file

 

I have the same problem but with Nero Vision 2 & it freezes whenever it wants. It's very annoying because Nero is the most basic of Video editors & I prefer it over any other but if it's going to keep doing this what am I supposed to do?
