Hi peoples, I have a problem when i try to burn video ts file. This is the second time that this has happened to me. I can play the movie in showtime with no problem, but when i try to burn with nerovision it puts the commentary in. I have tried to just burn the movie file by itself and still, i get the commentary. I would really apperciate some help, thanks.
Hello. All the audio for a video DVD title is muxed or combined with the video. In Nero Recode or DVD Shrink, all the audio tracks for a DVD will be listed. Uncheck any that you don't want included before re-encoding. Commentary tracks are sometimes labeled as Director's Commentary but often just as unlabeled AC3 2-Channel tracks. If there are several AC3 2-Channel tracks in English, only the first usually will be the regular sound track. The other tracks will most likely be commentary. If you dislike the commentary playback just click the audio button on your remote to cycle to another audio track.
I have been looking for a way to get rid of the commentary to and this will hopefuly work for me. There isnt any way to disable and enable the commentary while watching it on the ipod is there? I liked listening to the commentary but when I go out of town I dont want to be stuck jsut with the commentary version only.
I don't know about ipod but, what "laddyboy" said was right on the money! Now i look for video ts files, they are usually better quality. Mabey you can make your own thread and get some answers. Good luck. P.S. Thanks again laddyboy, you have opened up a new type of burning for me.
i have the same problem. trying to put dvd's on new ipod, & cannot get rid of the director commentary track. i don't hear it when i preview the main title file (the big one) this is using "imtoo dvd to ipod converter" by the way. i believe i tried both: english ac3 6ch option & english ac3 2ch. i figured the 2ch was right for the ipod. any help greatly appreciated.
Hey, what's up. Like i said i don't know anything about IPODS. As far as for the commentary use nero recode and uncheck the box next to second one that is usually the commentary, but check first to make sure. You can also google for more info.
Don't know if this will work, but if all else fails, Slysoft CopyDVD actually removes menu items like commentary sections. As I understand it, Nero does not remove the data, only disables it. At least the resulting file will be smaller, less compression, and so better quality.
HEY TRITEN82,sorry about the caps but i'm so excited. I think i have an answer for you. download "INFOEdit" to reedit the movie you can get it here. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/download_splash.cfm Here is a thread with all the info you might need, Good luck http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/252065
dvdfab is a great utility & super easy to use, except those occasions when it loses video/audio sync. the makers seem to be aware of this.
