Hi, I have had these issues with NERO before, and eventually only a complete HD wipe solved it (didn't just wipe the HD for this issue by the way). I am using NERO 7 Premium (version 7.0.5.4). After months of successful burning onto discs, I now face the issue whereby the burn starts ok and then fails (without any kind of error message) after 5-10 minutes. The NERO minimizes to the right hand side of the taskbar, and if I click on it to try to burn again, it tells me that the program is still running - and according to my task manager it indeed is, but this is not apparent on my screen anywhere. When this occurred previously, I spoke with NERO tech support and they were as much help as a chocolate fireguard, so I am hoping someone else might be able to shed some light? Sorry, I forgot to mention that I also have AVG anti-virus running on my PC - but not the free version (I was told the free version may well have caused the problems that arose before the wiping of the HD). Have tried turning off AVG and burning to no avail - I have a fear that AVG has removed something that NERO uses - is this a possibility?
