Using Nero Vision 4. When I create a DVD the menu works in the prieview portion just as it should. When I brun it the menu will show fine but it will not let me play any of the files. It is the same on my DVD player connected to my TV and it is also the same if I tryu to play them with VLC on my computer. I have tried several differnt files with the same results. I have tried a single video clip and multiple video clips. Any help would be great.
I'm trying to understand you here. What files (i.e. AVI, DivX, MPEG, MP4, etc.) are you trying to convert and transcode? Did Nero Vision successfully completed the "converting and transcoding" job? Did you had a big VIDEO_TS and AUDIO file? And under VIDEO_TS, did you had any VTS & VIDEO_TS files?
It is usually AVI and Divx files I am using. Neros finishes without any errors. The preview in Nero works fine. The menu plays fine on my DVD player but there is no way to get the movies to play. If I play the .vob files directly on my computer they work fine. It is like the menu is not connected to anything and does not know what to play.
What version of Nero are you on ? 7.0.5.4? or before that version? I ask because in 7.0.5.4, Vision version 4.1.0.13 Release Date: February 06, 2006 Fixed issues included this one: * Creating DVD-videos with animated menues did not work So I suggest you are running Nero version before 7.0.5.4?? Try a later Nero Version.
