nero messages.when trying to burn.

    hi all. i am using nero 7 premium, lately when trying to burn to disc i am getting the following message."unable to prepare data for recording:prepare session failed:transcoding of videos failed.
    can anybody tell me what it means and how i can put it right,any help is much appreciated.thanks

    Does that happen with all video, or just certain files? Have you done any installs or run any spyware of other type of cleaning program?

    It might be something has gotten corrupted and a reinstall might be required. If all else fails, try that. Use the clean tool to remove and then reinstall.

    You could also post a failed Nero history log for us to look at, located here

    Nero 7 history log location: Program Files>Nero>Nero 7>Core>NeroHistory

    VISTA: …. Desktop/Your Comp Name/App Data/Roaming/Ahead/Nero History
