Hi there, I have the latest version of Nero but when I try abd burn some audio CDr's, it just crashes back to desktop. ANy idea why? ALso when I am trying to burn a movie with Nero Vision, the program starts ok but then just hangs at a certain point. Again any help with this please. Thank you Da_Boo
Nero has many buggy versions. I don't even use Nero 7 for this reason..... and most older members will tell you that the stablest version is 6.6.0.18! Unless you need all the new stuff that Nero gives you in version 7 I suggest you stick with this version of Nero 6. Before udating to 6.6.0.18 I would save the serial #, uninstall Nero, then use the cleaning tools : Nero7 Clean tool http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Nero7_CleanTool.html then do a registry clean up and defrag...... then reboot! install package one: http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe then install package two: http://www.nero.com/nero6/eng/Patch_for_NVE3.html reboot and you're good to go! or you can try to use a more stable version of Nero 7 ...... some members say that this version is stable: and then reinstall 7.5.7.0 from here http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/ hopefully your Nero problems will go away when you use a more stable version.
