Nero not finding DVD Drive

    Please can you help?

    Nero cann't find my DVD Drive and only offers the CD part of the Nero Program.

    I do have a DVD burning drive

    Did you use the pull-down menu to change from CD--->DVD?
    What happens when you put a DVD disk with data or music on it?
    Does it autoplay or do you have autoplay disabled?
    (You can bypass autoplay by depressing the shift key while the disk is loading)

    Does it play a DVD?

    Also, check the drives data & power connectors...

    Not so sure it's Nero.

    im having the same issue nero doesn't recognize the built in dvd writer???

    Are these full retail versions of Nero, or some OEM ones?
