I am new to all of this. I downloaded DVD Shrink and DVD Decryptor. It seamed easist to use Nero so I downloaded the trial version of that as well. If I want to purchase Nero, I see retail versions ranging from $75 - $100 and OEM versions for less than $20.
What is the difference and do I really need to buy the boxed versions?

    Hi,

The $20 OEMs are likely stripped down versions that have the basic burning utilities without all the extras like Recode, etc. You can get by perfectly fine with the OEM version although the goodies in the retail version may come in handy later.

jmc318 Im pretty new to burning DVD's myself I just bought a DVD burner that came bundled with Nero OEM and Im satisfied with my copy's I dont even open up the Nero program just open up DVD Shrink at it takes care of it from there. I'd start out with OEM and then you could always upgrade if you need more right? Good Luck and Enjoy!
