After creating my MPG with Tmpeg. As per guides.. In Nero, at the momment when I drag and Drop the .Mpg in the "Video box" The Checking function returns the following errors " Invalid audio stream 0hz" and "Stream encoding which is invalid for a [super] video CD"... At this point I've typ. turned off the compliance requirements as per guides... I have a small clip for experimentation.. And I've noticed that If I choose to re-encode Nero then it gives me VCD Compliance = yes in the properties box... What is hapening behind the scenes in nero to re-encode what? Is it just the header, or the whole MPG again? and a'm I missing something in Tmpeg can I correct in Tmpeg? I want to create Compliant VCD's,Is there file analyser outside of Nero that can be more informative PS......I can garantee that I'm hitting the VCD tabs and not the SVCD one
I'd say this is a nero problem if you have been following the guides completely so what you can try is VCDEasy to burn!!
Will by trying VCDEASY later but... Tried EASY CD CREATOR PLATINUM System Clock Reference 1058....Thats what is preventing me from compliant VCD ..So says ROXIO!! Any idea how to correct for this..Its pointing to TMPGEnc as the source of the problem. And What does it mean?? OTHER REPORTED INFO..From EASY CD CREATOR Plat. Audio layer 2 OK Audio 224 Kbits/sec OK Video 1150 Kbits/sec OK Total Bitrate 1752 Kbits/sec Frame Size 352 x 340 OK Frame Rate 29.97 OK Video Pack Size 2048 Probably OK Audio pack size and padding 2048 Probably OK Last Pack Size 2052 probably OK
I FOUND THIS THREAD This is a bug that I have noticed at least on some versions of TMPGenc. If you encode audio and video together, the resulting mpg program stream is often non-compliant. To fix this you can just demultiplex (In TMPGenc, go file/mpeg tools/simple demultiplex) and then remultiplex (In TMPGenc, go file/mpeg tools/simple multiplex). If you remultiplex your mpg using the standard vcd output setting than you will no longer get this system clock reference error. The best way to avoid this problem is to encode audio and video separately and then multiplex in the end. My Third Post... Demultiplexing and remultiplexing cleaned up my nero and Easy CD Creator problems.. I found that using “Simple demultiplexing” then either “Simple multiplexing” or “multiplexing” works well. Be sure to change type to: MPEG-1 Video CD.. I’m using TMPGenc Plus 2.5 Version 2.58.44.152 Is this a program code issue or a template issue? I would like to connect with someone who could E-mail me a TMPGenc VCD template 29.97 NTSC.... Just to test and further explore.. Of course you should be having no problems like I was/am. Do you still think VCDeasy can do better.. Reason?
VCDEasy, allows you to create chapters and everything and choose between vcd1.1 and 2.0 so overall its a better solution!
